With a background in brand marketing (Kraft and Unilever), engineering (Bombardier) and the performing arts (Second City), Bobby draws on his diverse 20-year career to lead Raeallan, whose mission is to discover, inspire and develop leadership. Thousands of people across North America have felt an authentic connection with Bobby’s energetic keynotes and funny personal stories on personal branding, networking and social media. Named the second best business coach to follow on Twitter, the fourth biggest leadership social media influencer and 18th top tweeter in Toronto, Bobby has spoken at TEDx four times (see here and here), is an Executive Education instructor and a fiercely proud new dad. He has never lost a thumb war, ever.
Bobby is afraid of spiders, heights, water, being trapped and the dark. So if you put him in a cage full of spiders at night at the top of a cliff overlooking deep water, he’s pretty sure he would pee his my pants.
The nickname Bobby was given to him by a babysitter who couldn’t pronounce his first name Raehan. Eventually his parents made it official on his birth certificate and he only learned about his first name when he was 5.
One of the unique things about Bobby is that he is “very much” in touch with his feminine side, which is odd for such a big guy. He loves spas, wedding planning, dress shopping, fashion, cooking, talking about relationships and emotions, etc.
He once spent an evening with Steven Page of the Barenaked Ladies in a Montreal bar, talking about high school music, TV shows and passions. Steven was “awesome” and only just said he was in a band. Bobby doubts Steven remembers him.
The longest phone call he ever had was seven hours long.
Bobby posted behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram. Thanks Bobby!
