Fun facts

She was the frontwoman for an 80’s Welsh punk band.

She once had drinks with the great Marvin Gaye. Serendipitously, that was before his father fatally shot him in a domestic dispute.

s

Her son is an actor on Broadway. He’ll be a wizard in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which opens in New York City in the spring of 2018.

v

She speaks Welsh. And she can say the world’s longest place name anytime someone asks her to: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

She notes that “everywhere I go in the Western world I am stopped for directions by someone, which now I hope for, as it means I’m fitting in!

She shares these words of advice: “when in doubt, say yes“.
