Joe is an American photographer who has been shooting for the National Geographic Society since 1987. He was Life Magazine’s staff photographer from 1994-1998. He has been described by American Photo magazine as perhaps the most versatile photojournalist working today and was listed as one of the hundred most important people in photography.
