Dominik Sauter is the son of Swiss immigrant parents and was born in Ottawa. He is Co-Founder and CEO of Saucal Studios, an internet firm specializing in web development, online marketing and design. He grew up in a hotel owned by his parents, which sharpened his business instincts and instilled in him a personal work ethic, charm and a keen eye for style. In 2009, Dominik successfully launched his own venture, the Barefoot Hostel and then a year later, he raised three quarters of a million in venture capital to renovate his parents’ bed and breakfast, now called the Swiss Hotel. During his spare time, he creates stems for beats, many of which have been sold to Sony BMG Music.
