In Sasha’s words:
I am a dreamer. I like to dream.
I always dream about dreaming.
I have been dreaming about being a teacher, an actor, a traveler, a fashion designer.
One of my dreams finally came true. I became a journalist, a reporter, a story-teller.
But my dream just keeps growing bigger and bigger, more and more.
People have told me dreaming is not good because it’s not real. But I believe that if I can dream, I have at least a 50% chance to make it happen.
But dreaming is just a start. The rest is important too. Knowing your dream is real, then it will be.
As an international student from China, I would love to be a cultural translator to help more newcomers and immigrants to integrate to the Canadian society in a better and faster way.
