Alison is a lawyer and politician and is currently serving as the 14th Premier of Alberta. She was born in British Columbia and grew up throughout Canada and overseas before settling in Calgary. Alison has been actively involved in both provincial and national politics since the 1980s and has also undertaken assignments in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Namibia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and the Philippines.
