The story<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Bio” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”on” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid” text_font_size=”18″]\n

Kevin defines himself as a mediator but is trained as a lawyer and has several years experience working as Ombudsman for the province of Saskatchewan and now as Saskatchewan\u2019s Deputy Minister of Justice. He’s something of a Renaissance Man: “I know a little bit about a lot of things but not enough about any of them<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

He’s enjoyed a range of opportunities in life and is on his fourth career. All of his vocations have been centred on the theme of working with people or systems in conflict, trying to help them resolve conflict constructively.<\/p>\n

He has five passions in life:<\/p>\n

  1. His family and now especially his grandchildren. Says Kevin: “if anyone had been able to explain to me the joy that grandchildren bring to one\u2019s life we would have had some a long time ago<\/em>.”<\/li>\n
  2. J.R.R. Tolkien<\/a> and The Hobbit<\/a> and The Lord of the Rings<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. The Saskatchewan Roughriders<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  4. Downhill skiing.<\/li>\n
  5.     One of his future goals is to become accomplished enough at astrophotography <\/a>that he can make a video or slide deck of other galaxies and set it to music.     They have two cats, Merry<\/strong> and Pippen<\/strong>.     His love of skiing has progressed from an interest to a passion to an obsession.     They are passionate Saskatchewann Roughriders fans. In 36 years as season ticket holders Kevin has only missed seven home games!
