But she did not realize that this career path would take her from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Guyana\" title=\"Guyana Wikipedia page\" target=\"_blank\">Guyana<\/a> where she was born to England, where she met her husband, and then to Edmonton, where she has lived since 1991.\u00a0 She also did not realize that in so doing, she would become an inadvertent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/medical\/syphilologist\" title=\"Syphilogist Merriam-Webster definition\" target=\"_blank\">syphilologist<\/a> since &#8220;it&#8217;s rare to have such aspirations while growing up!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class='et-box et-shadow'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><strong>Among her greatest achievements are her three children, Salmaan, Samina and Akil who make sure that she stays on the straight and narrow on a daily basis.<\/strong><\/div><\/div>\n<div class='et-box et-shadow'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><strong>One of the hardest things she has ever done was successfully reaching Uhuru Peak, the highest peak on <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mount_Kilimanjaro\" title=\"Mt.
