Born in Quebec and raised in Calgary, she has travelled extensively throughout North and South America, Asia and Europe, is a self-declared Peace Scholar, and lives her life in constant search to better understand our global interconnectedness.<\/p>\n<p>She holds a BA in International Relations, an MA in Conflict Analysis and Management, currently works in Calgary\u2019s non-profit immigrant serving agency sector in business development, and volunteers actively as President of the <a href=\"http:\/\/cal.unac.org\/\">United Nations Association of Canada, Calgary Branch<\/a>. In all of her life roles, she actively seeks out opportunities to build bridges of understanding between people and groups, and to find innovative ways to celebrate diversity, inclusion and peace.<\/p>\n<p>One of M\u00e9lanie\u2019s life goals is to work with the United Nations.
