In 2010 Donna questioned why all the public schools in her town of 8,500 people were operated as Catholic schools. After two years of advocating, researching and building support with the community, Alberta Education responded to the parents\u2019 appeal by changing school division designations in the area. The new public school division in Morinville was granted a permanent home in a fully equipped building.
