She has also published four collections of stories and three collections of unclassifiable short prose works.<\/p>\n

She is among the most-honoured authors of fiction in recent history; she is a winner of the\u00a0Arthur C. Clarke Award<\/a> and\u00a0Prince of Asturias<\/a> award for Literature, has been shortlisted for the\u00a0Booker Prize<\/a> five times, winning once, and has been a finalist for the\u00a0Governor General’s Award<\/a> seven times, winning twice.“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
